amp clamp

im looking at a device to track where my the electrical gremlins live on the zx7r
i had a NRMA guy at work today charge a battery and use an amp clamp.
so i dont buy any old thing off ebay, what features would i be looking for in such a device for use on the motorbike?

I've spent over 40 years of my life riding bikes .... the rest of it, I wasted ..
If it's got wheels or tits, it's gonna give you trouble !

If all else fails, read the instructions........

For basic fault finding ( auto ), you won't need most of them. Just the volts, amps, and ohms.
