FI light on 09 zx6

Gday guys, thought I might ask a quick question from the armchair mechanics on here before I take my bike to Kawasaki...

last few weeks, I have very very occasionally, (like 4 times total) had the FI light come on whilst riding, and every time you pull the clutch in the bike starts revving... it's really strange..

turning engine off/on compeletely rectifies the fault and it's like it never happened.

Any Idea?

The error code will be recorded in the ECU. If you can get hold of a service manual it will tell you how to initiate the code and how to interpet the flashing light code and that will tell you what is wrong. I have a 2004 Z1000 so my manuals info will be different. It helps to get half farked when reading the service manuals as I think the writer of mine, at least, was high on something when he/she composed that fine literary masterpiece.
