It is no longer monitored but is causing my broadband speed to be nearly cut in half

Tried unplugging the phone line from the control box but it kills all the phone sockets

There is no wall jack near the alarm, but apparrently the telstra guy was fucking around with a wall jack in the dining room whan he hooked the lines back upoldman wrote:By jack I mean the female jack on the wall. They wire it so it goes into the alarm on the w/bl pair then back to the wall on the w/orange pair inside the cord. Once into the wall jack it continues on to the rest of the phones. If you pull the wall jack apart by removing the cover or unscrewing it from the wall you hopefully will see what I'm talking about. If I wasn't so fucking far away I would do it for you. If you are still struggling I will draw up a wiring diagram and post it.
