Spinning Footpeg
A couple of weeks ago on a ride I noticed that my LHS Footpeg was spinning around in the mount so when I got home I got out the Allen key & tightened it up & added abit of Loctite, today while on another ride the same thing happened, so on having abit more of look at it I notced that the RHS peg would moved forward & back about 10 to 15mm but the LHS peg when tightened didn't move at all so I was wondering if I was missing somekind of spacer or locking washer that allows movement in the peg without it spinning right around or somepart of the Mount Bracket is missing because nothing seems to be broken off. Any help would be great, it's not the best feeling when you go to put weight on the peg & it just folds down, thanks.

Check the threads on both the bolt and the peg first. If they are OK then try shimming it and see if it will hold it tight. Check also for cracks in the actual rearsets where the peg bolts to it. If there is a small fracture, it could allow enough play to cause the loosening movements.

Re: Spinning Footpeg
Sorry, no ZRX's or Zed's for sale, well that appears to be the logical step after a 9

Locktite and heavy duty split washers may be the answer

I've got it all back together at the moment & hopefully take it for a test run tomorrow so if it dose it again I'll get photos of it together & in pieces & post them up, I spoke to a Kawasaki Dealer on the phone & they looked up on their system to see if anything was missing but said nothing was
