Ninja 250r long trips
Looking to drive from Adelaide to barmera next weekend on my bike. Just wondering will the bike be ok at a 400km round trip mainly sitting on 100? Or should I just take the car to be safer on the bike?

400km round trip on a Ninja 250 siting mainly on 100kph won't be a problem for it

Jesus I rode 700 klm's in one day on a 250, not even close to a problem...even for a 125!
Are you up for the ride tomorrow?

Unsure on the ride tomorrow. Haven't had a chance to ride the hills more than once. I'd rather get my confidence up before going on a group ride. So I'll be out n about tomorrow.

Re: Ninja 250r long trips
Like many others have said and done, a 250 can go anywhere big bikes can. Did Melbourne to Bathurst to Melbourne on a Suzuki GT250 back in the early '70's. Didn't miss a beat.Mini ninja wrote: Just wondering will the bike be ok at a 400km round trip mainly sitting on 100?
Even got the little bugger up to 105MPH
down Conrod Straight....back in the days when they opened the track to the public after the racing had finished for the day. Just get on it and ride!!

Re: Ninja 250r long trips
It wont be then Bike you'll be worried about after 400kays on your 250, hehehe! Their seats are not long-distance friendly!

Pink on the outside, but still green on the inside!

						Re: Ninja 250r long trips
How do you guys get over this "unfriendly seat" problem?
Commuting to work on my bike for just a little over an hour and it still gets uncomfortable!
What good ideas have you guys got....
