If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

re: quick action throttle
No wonder they gave you a blank look, you've already got a 1/4 turn throttle, you want a 1/5 one or even 1/6 action
http://www.brgracing.com/throttle.html
or
http://www.performancemotorcycleparts.com/, they have them in the Track and Tuning section, but i did'nt see Kwaks listed so you may have to e-mail them, and give them some abuse.
or Kawasaki Racing Division, they apparentley do them as part of the race kit.

re: quick action throttle
Thats a help but it requires some modding of the cables, I rang my local kwaka dealer but didnt pay a visit sometimes the mechanics are way more knowledgeable on these things.

re: quick action throttle
I don't get on that well with my throttle either
I hate the way you can open it up 90% by twisting the wrist without moving the angle of your forearm but for that last 10% you're forced to do a passable impression of an orangutan.
It's losing me precious milliseconds on my daily run up the mountain (not to mention the RSI)...not happy
Why are they made like this, WHY

re: quick action throttle
well i just thought as i use full throttle on the track all the time whats easier must be better and if you dont want full throttle dont twist it as much.
!/4 or 1/5th turn throttle would have to be way more user friendly its just not that easy to procure.

did a search and couldn't find much but I'd try places like Mick Hone or Phil Tainton as it came from a shop in Melbournee..

re: quick action throttle
I just replyed on kawiforums too, i say most quickk action throttles will need some modifications.
Built by craftsman, Designed by a genius, Ridden by a twat....
re: quick action throttle
I thought i would ask around first for a simple soloution but it looks like i have to modify cables and stuff. I prefere a bolt on bolt off soloution then when you are done you can take it off and have a stock item for sale.
Might stick me head into the dealers and ask the mechanics in there what they know.

Nah neka I thought you might know sumthin about it actually its also easier to pop wheelies if ya dont have to have you elbow pointing at the ground....just use a little wrist action the whole forearm doesnt have to get involved.
