Hey all, trying to get across the whole cam chain / tensioner thing and have a few questions. How many K's should a cam chain last for on a crim?
I'm up to 64k most of which has been commuting at an average speed of 80. Seeing as I'm riding on the road I rarely give it the beans into the red simply because you are doing twice the limit by the end of 1st. Oil is changed every 3000. She leads a pretty charmed life.
Is the chain Ok until you run out of tensioner adjustment? I'm currently at 9 out of I think 15 teeth on the factory tensioner.
