Decided to rebuild the shock on the ZZR. Can't afford the $$ for an Ohlins right now. Any recommendations for the rebuild ?
Thanks in advance,
Mick

I second that...tanyathecheeky wrote:I had the front shocks revalved on my bike, the rear ones revalved and a new rear shock put in by suspension improvements.
He's not cheap but really knows his stuff...
A rebuild is suss by all accounts if the shock has done a lot of miles. I've been speaking to Steve up there too and I think I'll go with the Wilbers that has the Hi/Lo speed adjustment. Get the forks done at the same time, new springs and valves. All up about $2000 but it will be like having a new bike by all reports. I guess it all depends on the condition of your ZZR, how long you expect to keep it and where you intend to ride it. I want to go see all the twisties down the east coast so I want the best.Bear wrote:Hey Guys,
