Frozzie's ride

Post by frozzie »

Sorry about the choice of brand for my ride, but actually no, Kwaka doesn't make Vtwins (bar cruisers), I love it!

Anyhow, here are a few pics of my ride, with the latest bits highlighted, (the bar ends will change, I have found what I want), comments welcome!

The grips come from DPM Race, a great little Italian mob, one of my new suppliers. Billet aluminium, with rubber inserted. Amazing feel, great quality, light as and sure get comments. Prices are accordingly!!! If you're sitting down I'll give you the price.

$260 is the KSRC price for the pair, now you know why I havent yet got the levers!

The er6 is a twin but not a Vtwin, and it didn't exist when I was ready to purchase.

Agreed! I have a set of matt aluminium in mind. These bar ends are for Hondas, Kwakas and Yamaha's, not Spewzuki,! They still look a sh*t load better than what was on previously, so they'll do for now!

The grips will look better once I have the levers and bar ends to suit. Still looking for a suitable fly screen, might change the headlights (still twin ones!), but the parts I have in mind are not cheap. At the rate I'm going, the project will be finished in 10 years... if ever!!!

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
