Just wondering if anyone has seen a Motogp/Superbike style
starter for sale or has any idea what motor I can use to make
one? ( the race bike is a Bastard to start )

Re: Motogp starter
I've seen them built using a 3-tonne truck starter motor and an appropriate battery.Greenblood wrote:Just wondering if anyone has seen a Motogp/Superbike style starter for sale or has any idea what motor I can use to make one?

you can buy 2 conveyor belt rollers, (could be pricey)
and wels up a frame to hold them together.
or use a chainsaw motor and adapt a chain to turn a gokart tyre and the you push that up against the bike wheel while its on the stand.

they do a lot of racing over there, so they will more than likely have many members that have them...
