No spark

When I tried to start my warm bike at the servo today it wouldn't fire. It was like the ignitor pack had bee unplugged. It definately had fuel as I could hear little pops as it came out of the warm exhaust. I decided to flintstone it away from the pumps to a parking spot to investigate the problem and tried popping the clutch along the way. Fired instantly, and ran fine. wtf? After my next stop it was like it never happened. Just wondering if anyone (more specifically G 6R owners) have come across this? :?

I get something similar with ym zzr600, dunno what it is, sometimes turn the key, lights are on but noones home. Switch it off and back on again and it starts fine, figure i'll deal with it one day when the shit hits the fan :D

Possibly a weak battery

sounds like you just flooded it or somesuch. If I give my bike just the right amount of throttle when I press the starter it will fire within a second. If I give it no throttle it will just crank and crank. I don't think you have a problem, probably was something simple like vapor lock etc.
