Don't know about double bubbles but can tell you that riding Bill's 9 which has a clear screen I had a lot of trouble seeing the indicator & neutral lights. Now I have the same bike with a tinted screen & I can easily see those lights. Maybe it just depends which model bike you have how much difference it makes.
