i did a little shopping around and my prefered supplier only had +1 and +3 sprockets in their catalogue, i only wanted a very slight change in gearing so went the +1 ...
it fit easily under the chain, ended up being about 1 notch looser than the stock 41 tooth
the gain is noticeable, very subtle tho... i like it hopefully my speedo isnt too far out of whack

Question is 4200ish to high, would it be better to sit at a lower RPM (say something like 3500) or is it already at the best mix of power/economy?
anyone have any ideas?
4200 too high Stock '02 6rs run 5000 @ 100ks, and its worse on the barras (5400 or something?)
i agree that the 9R can be alittle bit buzzy on the highway in 6th, but you wouldnt want the gears to be any longer in the earlier cogs... and going +1 on the rear definately makes it more fun, im sure +2 would be better but wouldnt wanna go much more than that personally... still bareable on the freeway with +1
if you find its harsh on the hands during cruise, try turn your pilot screws out half a turn

thanks for those replies
I was thinking about making 6th taller and leaving the rest alone, not sure if i could fit the larger sprocket up there and wondering how much of a difference it would make as most of of the journey to work is on the freeway. so I'm sitting on 100 without accelerating/changing to much, if i really need to i could flick to 5th...
yeah its a 9...so that RPM range is normal.
thinking about best economy and whats best for wear and tear on the engine.
anyone got any ideas?
