OK - use Motul 5100 and change the oil filter. Clean the air-filter, and if its really dirty, then throw some $$$ into a set of BMC filters.rotaboy wrote:its the 18k service and not sure what oil went into it b4 as it was services from the shop i brought it from just b4 i brought it

Some people will say yes, some will say no. I belong to the latter ..... it all depends on how recent your model is, and how the ECU will deal with a *slightly* more free-flowing air filter.
I think you will find it runs just fine, the main benefit with BMC's, K&N's etc, is that they can be cleaned as re-used for *ages*, unlike the stock paper filters.
Talk to the shop dudes, but with just a can and a filter, I think a PCIII would be uneccesary...........if you go a full system, then its time to put one on.
