Post by swabio-ACT »

Righto ppl,

I am after a fairing stay to be used with my race glass..... the only problem is.... that there is a lack of 95 ZX6R fairing stays around.... however there is an abundance of 98ZX6R ones....... will it fit? How different are the upper fairings ?

Cheers :)

EDIT: this is the kind of thing i am after..... http://www.gravesport.com/cgi-bin/shopp ... ey=FB__021" target="_blank

they are a little different Rich! But if you use a Suzuki special tool (A Hammer) it could be made to work.

hmmm how much different are we talking? Do you think it will be just a matter of a slight bending process? Are the lengths about the same?

Ugly different mate! Get some small dia alloy tubing and mock it up yourself with a pipe bender, then get it welded. I have a non farked one here which you can borrow for a template if neccesarry. Not like you havn't got the time! ;)
