farken mirrors

Post by dilligaf »

on my er6-n the mirrors start turning in once I get a bit of speed up and I have to keep pushing it back.
its not coming loose at the screw (the other side did that and loctite worked) but in the adjustable bit
on the stem. any idea how I tighten it?
That is why God made fast motorcycles, Bubba.... Hunter S. Thompson.

I have the same problem on the zeddy with the original mirrors... I just wind them clockwise till they are tight... but anything over $140 and they flap around again, at the moment I dont care because they are going to be replaced with bar end ones

Don't count on the bar end mirrors to be your saviour Rob. I bump mine constantly with my fat hands so they never point to where they need to and they are too small to see anything in when they are in the right position.
