I know I asked this months ago, but I've lost the answer cos I procrastinated too long.
Really a question for Mick (the one with my bike's twin) with his service manual.
Can you (or anyone else) tell me the torque settings for the 2 side engine bolts (left and right) that are behind the lower fairing as in the attached pic please?
I've decided I'm just going to suck it up and drill the fairing to fit the crash knobs I got months ago - I want to fit them before I head to the track in 2 weeks.
Thanks
ty

If you have no fear, you're not going fast enough.

Thanks Mick,
I also got a call from Colette (and Steve) last night to help out.
Looks like it's 36ft-lbs, but I'll need to check what the bolt actually looks like. I think it's that T3 bolt on your pic which also say 36ft-lbs - so that's a good sign.
Thanks to Colette, Steve and Mick - I'll be drilling the baby this weekend

And thanks to Mario too - he PM'ed me some tips on how to drill the fairing neatly and in the right place - using tape around the drill area and putty on the inside of the fairing to mark the bolt position amongst other things.
