Dude you don't even need to change it, you just have to quote out of context...

OK so all jokes of pumping and sucking aside, anyone know if this would work on a hydraulic clutch? It doesn't meet any firm resistance at the end of the lever travel, does this make a difference?

I also don't see how the air gets out of the lines with the cable tie, I would have thought that any air along with the brake fluid would be trapped within the lines/master cylinder/calipers with the master cylinder piston at one end and the caliper pistons at the other end, after all if this method can force air out of the system why doesn't the brake fluid follow suit if there's an opening?

The bubbles will rise to the opening in the MC in theory Tony...
There will always be bubbles in your fluid , ones that you cant see & the ones that are trapped in kinks in the passages, short of turning the bike upside down to let gravity shift the the hard ones all you can do is a good bleed & live with the result.
The new radial MC's have bleed nipples at the top of the line so you can get as much out as possible

OK so after checking a couple of days later it's back to a bit spongy, I guess the theory I read somewhere is correct that the cable tie just compresses the bubbles for a while, and the effect wears off. Still, I still have front brakes, and it's no biggie to bleed up some better ones :).
