the diablo is still a good choice - i went from michelin pilot sports to metzeler sportec M1 and i thought it was a great improvement, how much better than the michelins the metzelers were but then when i decided to try the diablo corsas, i was blown away by how good they were, the feedback is great and they stick like glue, seriously... got past a new-ish CBR1000RR thru a corner and we were going fairly fast.. i was two up and i was leaning over at a pretty good angle and not once did the front or back feel like they would give even 1mm sideways - rock solid, i cant say enough about em, bloody brilliant tyres - i actually have marilyn (with the Z1000) to thank for recommending them to me! perhaps if you try the corsa once youre done with the regular diablo, you'll notice the difference.

Just as an update to my earlier comments on the Diablo, I just replaced it at 7,000km compared to 9,500km from the Metzeler I had before it...and have gone for again.

Did the run down the Clyde Mountain to Neligen and back on Saturday to scrub the new tyre in. These Sportecs are heaps better than the Diablo.

The rear didn't suit my riding style at all. I found they starting sliding too easily, even when warm...and believe me I had warmed them up. Maybe I had a dud one but I can't see what all the fuss was about.
I can crank it open with the Metzeler coming out of a corner and it just digs in and launches me out, front wheel skimming the ground (or higher  ). The Diablo was just as likely to spit me off :x .

Haven't had any problem with the front Diablo though. :?

...they're the regular Diablo's too, I can't comment on the Corsa's but I figured that would be heading in the wrong direction...

My mate had a pair of super corsa's and he reckons they were great but not in the wet!
