Some things havnt changed at all and it isnt all doom and gloom either IMO, all we need is another Sir Joh to sort it on a global levelBlurr wrote:I was fully following until you stated " kids haven't changed " .

I dont speak for all here as some parents are exceptional in giving quality time to their children and it is pleasing to see....but....
The reason why other things have changed for the worse is my generation and the hippie gen before me changed the whole approach, it is our fault collectively being too easy, busy and lazy, hazy, drunk and broke.
A quick summary of how I see the decades from the late 1960's.
Peace out man

Hey thats cool dude whatever lets get wasted.
Did you see James got a new M3, I so getting one of those on a plan, I hope there will be no recession forced on us.
How are we going to afford the kids now, ok we both work harder/longer forever but at least they get what they want.
We would like to think we instilled some sense of moral responsibility in them when we were actually not keeping up with the Jonses and when they got off the playstation nanny to wear out the fridge hinges to have 1 minute of their time, now its there turn and I dont hold much hope.
But in time all of this will turn around the other way for the better, if I didn't believe this I would be seeking professional help.
