nope, when i installed it, i undid the tank and propped it up, but about 1cm out of the rubber hose about 1/2 way along (the hose coming from airbox to the T)
and stuck the tap in, then put the tank back down.
now its in, i can get my hand up to turn it on and off, and managed to pull it out with the tank mounted as normal.
no mechanical knowledge really needed. if you can cut rubber you can do it.

BTW that flame looks awesome

I got bored of the flameless silence so I just removed the block off insert and opened the hose up again.
I'm thinking that Nylex tap makes it real easy to change from one to the other, when you get bored.....
I went for a ride with a good mate the other weekend and he asked me why my bike had stopped 'spitting fire' at him.....
Anyone know who stocks these Nylex taps, in Melbourne?
Daz.

Dave,
By that response, I'm guessing you can get them from just about anywhere!
Shrike,
Tried sprinkling some Vtec powder in with that 1:25 coffee/ fuel mix?
Next time you're down at Scabs, ask one of the drunken ricers parked out the front of that kebab shop, next to the Lookout. He will fix you up..... lol!!!!
